Logansport Recital:
This year the Logansport location will be having their own 2012 show at McHale Auditorium at Logansport High School.
*Stage Struck will be performing at both
shows with them.
Performances will be:

Technical rehearsal will be:
Wed., May 30 at 5:30 pm
Dress rehearsal will be:
Thurs., May 31 at 5:30 pm
Rehearsals:
-We will need 1-2 mothers from each class to volunteer for each rehearsal and show to supervise and dress students back
stage. Only the parents who volunteer to supervise students will be allowed back stage or to attend rehearsals.
-Parents should bring children into the auditorium and leave them with the parent in charge of their class. The
parents in charge will dress the students.
-Parents in charge will have your phone number and will call you when your child is finished. Please do not ask
when your child will be finished. We run rehearsals in the order of the show. It is impossible to estimate a time.
-Please feed your child before coming to the auditorium. Food and drinks are not allowed inside. They are
not allowed in the dressing area during dress rehearsal or the shows either.
-Pictures may be taken at dress rehearsal by parents by permission only.
-Students should wear leotard and tights and bring dance shoes to technical rehearsals.
-Students should BRING not wear costumes to dress rehearsal. They should also bring everything they need for the
show to dress rehearsal (incuding accessories).
-PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON EVERYTHING THEY BRING
-After dress rehearsal, leave all costumes and shoes in the dressing rooms. The dressing rooms will be
locked overnight.
-Dress rehearsal is the time that students get to see their show, as they are not allowed in the auditorium during performances.
Performances:
-Performers will need to have hair in a bun and wear stage make-up.
-Cameras of any kind are not allowed during performances. The reason for this are: Flash cameras can blind
a performer. We do not want cameras blocking the view of audience members.
-The performances will be video-taped. You may order copies.
-The evening of the performances, parents should bring children into the auditorium and leave them with the parent in
charge of their class. The parents in charge will dress the students. Please, if you are not a parent in charge,
do not stay and dress your child. Parents in charge will have your child's things organized.
-After the shows are over, no one will be allowed in the dressing room area except parents in charge and students.
This is for your child's safety. When your child's class is dressed and ready to leave, the parents in charge will bring
them to the stage and hand them to their parents. You will need to wait in the auditorium.
HAIR: All students must have hair in a bun. If you are not sure how to do this, we will show you. Make
up:
MAKE-UP: full stage make-up: foundation, blue or green eye-shadow, eye liner, pink blush, red lipstick.
(*should be applied at home.)
